So Adam "Pacman" Jones, why do you feel as though you deserved your second chance? Why did you go through the hassle of press conferences and continuing to bug NFL commissioner Roger Goodell when you knew in the end you would not follow through on your word?

Congratulations, you were amazing your two years in Tennessee. So why did you feel that four kick return touchdowns and four interceptions was good enough for you to become invincible to the law?

This is the problem with athletes these days, and Jones is a prime example of everything wrong with some athletes of today. They think they are above the law.
Don't get me wrong, I am a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan and when they inked Jones to a contract this year I couldn't have been more excited for our defense. For those who cannot understand my complaint, here is a broad view of Jones' last two years.

When Dallas signed him in the off season, Jones was coming off a full year suspension from the NFL; he had been arrested six times and involved in a dozen incidents which required police attention.
Sounds like quite a track record for someone who had been in the league for only two years.

After Jones was signed by Dallas, he included comments in his interview which included "I know my responsibilities to the NFL and I'm going to hold my own and do what I need to do to make sure I stay where I am right now, which is reinstated," and my personal favorite "I work hard every day to make sure I don't make the same mistakes." Humor me.

It took you less than two months to mess up. You decided to get in a "scuffle" with your 24-hour bodyguard which Dallas personally hired to watch over you. Why wouldn't you want to fight with the one person who has Jerry Jones, Dallas's president, on speed dial?

Personally Jones, I hope you never play a down in the NFL again. You beg to be reinstated because of how much you itch to play football. Goodell gives you a second life by allowing you to play football again.
Jerry Jones and the Cowboys open their arms and wallets to you as if you were a puppy sitting out in the rain. You bust your butt during training camp to get back in the groove and then begin your new life the NFL.
Why does someone like you feel as though they have earned to act like this? What have you done to give yourself that right? All that you have done is disgraced the entire NFL, the Dallas Cowboys, Goodell and yourself.

You don't deserve that star on your helmet, and as a Cowboy fan and proud American, I am glad to say you don't deserve to play for America's team.
