This issue's male spotlight athlete is Darell Grames of the football team. Grames led the team in rushing this past weekend with 125 yards rushing and three touchdowns in a 42-7 victory over visiting Southwestern Assemblies of God. Grames is a senior running back that has helped the Coyotes to a 6-0 start.


This issue's female spotlight athlete is Christina Sanchez of the women's soccer team. Sanchez is a senior midfielder and is one of the team leaders in goals and assists. Sanchez is a team captain that has helped the Lady Coyotes to an undefeated KCAC record.
