A little more than a week before voters decide who will control Congress next year, that game is played out in a half-dozen battleground Senate races and 40 to 50 closely-contested House elections across the country.

The course number is MUSII51; the class is worth 3 credit hours and meets on Tuesday/Thursday at 7 p.m. till 8:45 p.m. Professor William McMosley is the conductor and he gives students very positive reassurance toward their progress.

This year I visited four supposedly 'haunted' places to see just how spooky they really are. Mozart's The Magic Flute is coming soon to the Stiefel Theatre, in downtown Salina. As a joint venture of The Salina Symphony, the Stiefel Theatre, and Kansas Wesleyan University, The Magic Flute will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17.
The plot line is interwoven with magic elements, dramatic events, and love stories.

On October 7th, 8th, and 9th the KWU Debate and Forensics Squad went to Missouri Central University (formerly Central Missouri State University) for the Missouri Mule debate and Forensics Tournament. It was the first tournament for the full squad. They sent 3 to K-State September 30th where Megan Hagaman took third in Extemporaneous Speaking.
