December on the road for both men's and women's basketball

While the rest of the students return home for their winter break, the men's and women's basketball teams will be a facing a December on the road.
Both the men's and women's basketball teams have played their only home game of the month. The men used the home court advantage to beat Southwestern and the women used the home court to push Southwestern to the limit before losing by one point.
The women play four games on the road to close out the month of December. At the end of the month the women will head out of state when the play two teams from Colorado on back to back days.
The men also have four games on the road and play two non-conference opponents in Fort Hays State and Okalahoma Wesleyan. Both the men and women return home when they both host Sterling on January 4. Currently the Women have a record of 3-8 and the men have a record of 8-2.
The men have a 2-0 conference record after their 90-87 overtime win over Ottawa. The women have a 0-2 conference record heading into the four games away from Salina. Both conference games for the women were against tough teams and teams that are 2-0 in conference. The next two games for both teams are conference games on the road. The next two games will give both teams a good idea of where they stand in the conference.
