Basketball teams black out Bethany

The women's basketball team won by a score of ? And the men won 64-41. The energy from the stands transferred on t o the court and sparked the Women in the first game of the night.
The women played tough D. forcing many Bethany turnovers. Jen Lee was strong at the free through Line down the stretch. "I've been putting in a little extra time and its paying off" Lee said after her team's victory.
As the final seconds of the game ticked down the Coyote men pumped up the crowd to support the women in their victory before taking the court themselves.
The momentum provided by the Women carried into the Men's game capping off a sweep of the Swedes.
Jeff Baron led the Coyotes with twenty points while shooting seventy percent from the field. Baron was two for three from three point range. "Being a forward most people don't expect me to be an outside shooter." Baron said. Baron was able to make the Swedes pay for not reading their scouting reports.
?_ Sims also had a big game scoring eighteen points for the Coyotes.
The Swedes were able to stay in the game for most of the first half. With the halftime score at twenty-eight to twenty-two the energy built up to the second half. With 12:32 left in the game the Coyotes were up 42-31. After a Bethany time out the eleven point lead began to build for the Coyotes and with 7:50 left in the game the Coyotes were up 52-34.
The Coyotes ran away with things late in second half leaving the Swedes with their tongs out.
"We hit the running hard in the off-season and now it's helping us when games." Baron said of his team's efforts to beat the Swedes up and down the court all night long. Baron continued "it's great anytime you can beat your rival, a clear bench at the same time."
