The Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes took the first step in being successful next football season by signing 39 new players to the team on Wednesday, February 7.

Many of the faces that signed were familiar to the Salina Area. Some of these players were, Jason and Ryan Dolan, Dan Fox, Drew Dallas, Bryan Cooper, and Quinn Cuttingham.

The Coyotes are in the middle of off-season work outs, making strides toward next season. They will kick off the season against the defending co-champion Bethel College next season. With the season getting closer, the Coyotes hope to integrate the new players a quickly as possible, so that they will be able to make contributions next season.

The KWU coaching staff is very excited to bring all of the local products back to town to play for the Coyotes. "We look forward to having the local guys come play for us and make contributions right away," said Coach Dave Dallas. The excitement builds around campus as well with all of the new faces coming to campus. "It has been fun seeing lots of familiar faces around campus." Said Joe Rollins, former KWU football player.
With the added hype now looming in the air, the KWU Coyotes will work harder to win the KCAC championship next season.
