The elections for next year's Student Government Association officers will be taking place shortly and Vice President, Rodney Wren Sr., will be running for presidency on an interesting platform. Wren stirred up some controversy when he posted flyers indicating that the current Student Government Association might be a "joke" and featured Anna Nicole Smith as the cover girl.

Debate, forensics make good at Christian college nationals

The Coyote Debate & Forensics Team traveled to Riverside, California for the Christian college national Debate & Forensics tournament on March 2, 3, and 4. The Coyotes brought home 3 National Championships and 20 awards. John Mikolajcik won the national championship in novice Lincoln Douglas debate and was the best speaker in that division.

Corpus Juris club brings Wichita CSI member to talk

A room full of students, faculty, and community members were in attendance when Wichita CSI's Sarah Geering was on hand to inform people about her job as a member of a CSI unit. "There are a lot of differences between my job and the T.V. show" Geering said, she continued, "For one, I don't drive a hummer.

Senior's photography on display
The photography work of Kansas Wesleyan senior Heidi Feyerherm will be on display in The Gallery during the period of April 4-20. The show, 'Incognito,' explores who we are beyond the surface. She has the subjects in her photos wear masks while they are depicted in everyday locations such as concerts, skateboard parks, in automobiles or on downtown sidewalks.

KWU community pulls together for blood drive

On March 30 the University United Methodist Church was the site of the 2007 KWU Blood Drive. Students, faculty and community members associated with KWU were responsible for the donating of blood. A team of Red Cross phlebotomists was on hand to draw blood from all the volunteers.
