Kansas Wesleyan threw two shutouts against Southwestern College on Monday night at Bill Burke Park. The Coyotes blanked Southwestern 3-0 and 2-0. The big story of the night however was Ashley Coker's no hitter in the first game.

Coker was nearly perfect as she only allowed two baserunners all night. Kinsey Colclasure led off reaching on an error to short stop, but could get no further than third. After a strike out, Kristin McCart was hit by a pitch, before Coker settled into a groove, striking out the side.

Coker would double in the Wesleyan first, and would later score on a Southwestern error on Megan Duchene's hit to short.
Gabby White would single home Jamie Peat in the Coyote fifth, and Coker would single and Tara Earley would score on an error by Southwestern's center fielder.

Coker was on fire, as she struck out 13 and walked none as part of her no hitter.
"It was great to see Ashley put together a great game like that," Wesleyan coach Matt Williams said. "She did a fantastic job tonight, as did the rest of the defense behind her, making some great plays."
Williams visited the mound after the second out of the seventh to let Coker know of her impending accomplishment.

Game two saw Coker put on her offensive shoes as she hit her ninth homer of the season in the third to give Wesleyan a 1-0 lead.

Megan Duchene doubled in the fifth scoring Heather Watson who led off the inning with a single to give the Coyotes all the offense they needed in game two.

Jamie Peat would scatter four hits over seven innings as she went the distance for the Coyotes. She would walk only one while striking out eight.
