After being chosen to finish second in the KCAC by opposing coaches in the conference, the KWU Coyote football team is preparing to show better in the standings than they have been predicted to finish. They will get the chance at home against Bethel on Sept.

A Kansas Wesleyan University student was involved in a car accident on his way to Wichita on Aug. 17.
The crash occurred Friday afternoon when Robert Nelson was on his way to the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport to pick up a KWU student. Noticing that he had only a half tank of gas, Nelson decided to turn off his air-conditioning to conserve fuel.
