Proverbs 3:5-6-"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
The word "trust" has several different meanings: believe, hope…etc. The Webster's New World Mini Dictionary uses 12 different ways to explain this important
word. Definition 1 says, "Belief in the honesty, reliability, etc. of another; Definition 6 says, "Property managed for another. These definitions are the main focus of this article.
God desires for us to trust Him and trust in Him. Many times in the Bible, God refers to trust as the act of WAITING. Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."
The idea of waiting on God is recognizing that God's timing for every
situation is better than our own.
God has something wonderful in store for us, but He is forming us, shaping us, molding us into the persons we need to be in order to be able to accept the wonderful things He has for us.
When God says that He wants us to TRUST HIM, what He means is to wait on Him; to let Him manage
our property for us. This means trusting God to provide needed transportation, ink cartridges for our printers, a printer to put the ink cartridges
into.
God wants us to trust Him to take care of everything in our lives at this current time. (to absorb learning by coming in physical contact with the information)***
This means that if you believe that God wants you here at this school, then He will provide a way for you to be here.
This means that He will provide a way for you to study. God also wants us to trust IN Him. This means that we believe that what God says in His Word is true, and that we can believe that He will do what He says: I Thessalonians
5:24-Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.
This is the idea that WHEN you study, you trust God because He called you to study (hence why you are in college), and when you trust God WHILE you study, He will help you learn the information.
