Returning students to Kansas Wesleyan University will notice the no smoking yellow tape lines around the entrances to every building on campus.

It has become a problem that people
are smoking around the entrances of buildings so the school has put an end to that by placing the lines around most of the entrances of most buildings
around campus.

Some areas were neglected such as the west and northeast entrances to the science building."I don't actually put the lines myself, I get instruction from Wayne Schneider who in turn is instructed by the president of the university," said Darrell Victory. Victory is the person that is in charge of the maintenance of the campus and has ordered his crew to put them in. Many of the smoking lines have been worn away by either bad weather or disgruntled smokers.

Many smokers are not too affected by the ban on smoking by building entrances to much because the lines only push smokers away from the doors only by maybe twenty feet at the most. If the school wanted to greatly inconvenience they would ban smoking all together on campus but no actions have been made.
