Baseball, Softball teams picked third

Kansas Wesleyan's Baseball and Softball teams were picked to finish third in their respective conference races by the coaches of the conference at the respective sports' coaches' meetings earlier this week.
In the baseball race, Bethany was picked to win the conference again this season, after winning its second KCAC Regular Season title in the last three years in 2007.
Friends was picked second, and the Coyotes were third, followed by Ottawa and Saint Mary tied for fourth, Sterling and Tabor rounding out the polls.
After finishing the 2007 season with a share of the KCAC Championship, KWU softball was picked to finish third this season. Friends was picked first in the poll, with Ottawa being voted second. Wesleyan was third, followed by Bethany and Sterling tied for fourth.
McPherson was picked sixth, Southwestern
seventh, Tabor eighth and Saint Mary rounded out the poll.
