In celebration of the lovely holiday known as Valentines Day, we would like to give the student body a few love tips to use for its future endeavors in love.

As you continue to read, you will find a few questions that plague both men and women in this game called dating. The questions will be answered by staff members and KWU students. The girl questions will be answered from a guy's perspective and the guy questions from a girl's. Though the advice we share may work for most, it may not be for all. Keep in mind that this is just advice not concrete law.

Is it ok for a girl to make the first move?
I believe that guys should always make the first move simply because we're more dominant. The person that makes the first move in a relationship usually is the aggressor between the two. You wouldn't see an impala hitting on a lion. Mother Nature would tell you that pretty much that will never happen. But, you NEVER SAY NEVER, and as we all know, love causes strange things to happen. Some guys aren't meant to be that kind of guy to just whisk a girl off her feet, and some girls aren't looking for a guy to be that way. I believe a girl shouldn't make the first move because most guys like for a good challenge. But every guy isn't the same. So ladies, if you want to make the first move that OK as well; its whatever floats your boat. Have a happy Valentines Day. - Sir Coop -

Do girls prefer the bad boy or the good boy?
So many times, the ones we should stay away from are the ones we run toward. Plain and simple, bad boys are a challenge. Usually bad boys are good looking, charming successful, funny, fun, flirt with multiple women, disrespectful, dishonest, and don't have a heart. What more could a girl ask for, right?

I once saw this saying "Looking for Mr. Right, in the meantime having a good time with all the wrong ones!" This frame of mind is that of a lady who likes the bad boys, but ultimately desires a good boy. Generally to no avail, girls try to change these bad boys to good.
However, dating experience, time wasted, and the realization that she deserves to be treated much better than what the bad boy can provide, generally gives her the courage to move on. These boys are no dream, rather they are a living nightmare. When they should be keeping commitments with only one lady, they are texting Tami, then Lori, and heading over to meet Monica.
If you find you are into a lady who likes bad boys, share with her how you think she deserves to be treated better, and you can be that guy! If she takes a liking to what you have to offer than be prepared to back it up Mr. Good boy. If she seems impartial, than don't hold your breath. This is her journey and she'll have to figure this one out on her own.

A few tips for you good guys. Don't seem desperate and call her too much. Also, if she doesn't call you back, don't call her again. Nothing is worse than some guy who can't get the hint.

When taking a girl out for the first time, please don't expect her to pay or split the bill. Rather, save up your money and then take her out when you can afford it! After all, she's a lady and deserves to be treated right!
