Women's basketball still trying to find stride

The Kansas Wesleyan University Women's Basketball players are still trying to find their stride as they split this past weekend's two conference games 1-1.
The Lady Yotes are still trying to find their swagger after a big win against the Bethany Swedes, then a stunning loss to the Southwestern Mountain Builders.

Thursday night the yotes were on their a game as they defeated the Bethany Swedes 70-50.

Jennifer Lee a senior from Palmdale,
Calif., said, "The win was definitely refreshing, especially after we lost to them the first time."

The yotes were led by Tierra Baldwin
a senior from St. Louis, with 21 points.
Emily Luckeroth a junior from Palm Desert, California added another 20 to the big victory.

Saturday evening the yotes hosted the Southwestern Mountain Builders. Charressa Gray a senior from Topeka, Kansas led the yotes with 17 points.

Baldwin added 12 points. The Mountain Builders proved to be too much as they beat the Lady Yotes 72-55. At this point in the season the Lady Yotes are sitting below .500 with an 8-14 record.

Luckeroth states "we started off slow but were picking it up, its not how you start but how you finish".
