winter season might be coming to a close, and it will soon be time to put away the faux-fur-lined-hood puff coat, but there are some things that the ladies will still need to get through the spring season.

As was fashionable this winter, the layered look continues to thrive into the spring. On those cooler days, it's always nice to throw together a stylish look with the thermal print or solid color undershirt along with a casual T-shirt or a dressier shirt for a more chic look. This is very affordable.

For example, the fashionable thermals
can be found at Wal-Mart or JC Penny's along with the other large retail providers such as Dillard's and the Buckle.

If you're not a thermal-gal, you can still layer with camisoles and a transparent
outer layer shirt, or even create your own unique layered look.

The malls are also full of springtime
looks, even though spring is still officially over a month away. It's important to pick up a pair of skinny jeans if you have not got some already.

This look is going to continue to be the "it" style through spring. You can get yours at the Buckle or Maurice's. Watch for pastels and bright-colored plaids, as they are making a return this season.

Making its return to the fashion spotlight are high-waist pants. You can pick up this look at Old Navy or on-line providers.
The length of skirts that hit the run-ways in the spring preview fashion shows were slightly longer than in past years.

Most end right above or below the knee as opposed to barely covering the behind… then again, it does depend on the designer.

Retro is still the common theme for this season in fashion. Designers have sought the looks of yesteryear yet again, but they are fashioning them in a different manner.
This year, also expect to see higher-wasted lines in pants and skirts.

Electric and eccentric bright colors are going to be hot this spring. It's time to say goodbye to the dead colors of winter (except for black, the always appropriate color.)

Try mixing and matching blues, greens and pinks to make the best spring look.
