Six Coyotes were recognized as KCAC team selections this past week after both the men's and women's post season runs would came to an end in KCAC tournament play.

On the women's side, Tierra Baldwin was named a First-Team All-KCAC member and averaged 12.4 points and 10.8 rebounds in conference play. This senior was a transfer from St. Louis and helped to transform the defensive game of the Lady Coyotes with her KCAC-leading double-doubles (11) and rebounds per game.

Honorable mention for the Lady Coyotes was awarded to senior Charreesa Gray with an average of 10.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the KCAC. LaCole Wilkinson was the last to be awarded to both the All-KCAC Defensive Team and the All-KCAC Freshman Team. Wilkinson was third in steals in the KCAC with 2.04 per game.

The Lady Coyotes finished their season with a 12-17 record and went .500 in the KCAC at 9-9. This is the best record the women have had in the past three years. The women were ranked No. 5 going into the KCAC tournament where they were knocked off by Tabor College.

On the men's side, Trey Sims was awarded First-Team All-KCAC for the second year in a row. Sims earned second in overall scoring at 16.2 points per game in the KCAC and third overall in scoring in just conference play. Romero Hood earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC with 10.7 points per game average and 11.7 in KCAC play.

Senior Tony Boone earned honorable mention All-KCAC, and was named to the All-KCAC Defensive Team honors for the second time. Boone had 4.2 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game. He led everyone in the KCAC in overall assists per game (5.08) and just in conference play (5.6). Boone's 3.17 steals per game in the KCAC was a difference maker.

The Coyotes finished their season overall at 14-14. After losing some key players from last season, the men tied for second in the KCAC with a record of 12-6. They lost to McPherson as the No. 3 seed in the KCAC tournament to end the season.
