I would first like to thank everyone who has ever picked up our paper and read. I can't express enough how much I appreciate each and every one of you.

The reason that I chose to do a music column is simple; it's my passion. Music to me is the key to true self-expression and freedom.
Music is my love and my life. It is all I've known. My goal for this column has been to share my love for music and also inform you all of its state in America, to let you know about its stars and their ups and downs, to inform you on how you yourself can contribute to it, and to explain how it can affect your life in so many different areas.

This has been a great year for The Advance and for music. From all the previous articles composed in the Scoop with Coop column, I hope you all have grown with me as much as I've grown with you all. Hopefully my voice in music has affected every reader of the paper.

From updates with the stars, tips on making it in the industry, or even introducing you to a local campus artist, it will give me a great deal of satisfaction to know that you came away with a little more insight into the music world.

Remember everyone that you all have talents but it is up to you to recognize that talent within and unleash it. Follow and pursue all of your dreams because you only live once.
