The directing class, taught by Professor Richard Esvang, was able to show off their directing skills by completing an assignment in Fitzpatrick Auditorium on Tuesday night.
Michael Tate, Blair Waite, Twoey Truong and Jeriah Forbes each presented one act plays to a panel of peers and professionals for their critique. Professor Esvang said he chose the one act format to "challenge student directors to glean from the play a story line." The goal was to make this piece of the picture feel like a whole picture.
Afterwards, the panel was able to ask each director about his/her thoughts and explain how and why they chose to portray certain scenes.
