The 12th annual photography invitational was held, Oct. 14 in Sam's Hall of Fine Arts. The theme for the gallery talk was Investigating Kansas. A few artists were there to explain their work. One photographer, Kent Berquist, explained how he developed his film, and mentioned about how he uses contact prints.

When Kansas Wesleyans soccer teams entered conference play with a combined five wins and eleven losses, the only people who didn't seem to worry were the Coyotes themselves. Only three tournaments into the season, and the debate and forensics team have already brought home a number of trophies and debated competitors from around the world. So far this season, the Coyote speech team has participated in The University of Central Michigan "Mule Swing," the Sterling College and Barton Community College "Debates on a Plain" and last weekend the team traveled with their European friends to Arkansas for the John Brown University tournament.
